Renesa

Hi, I’m Renesa Guha, a Goa-based Bengali artist, designer, and a lifelong disappointment to Bengali fish lovers everywhere. I studied at Visva-Bharati University and later at the National Institute of Design (NID), which probably explains why I overthink colours, textures, symbolism, and the emotional implications of oddly shaped trees.

My work usually lives somewhere between dreamy and slightly unsettling. I love creating emotional, story-rich worlds inspired by nature, folklore, human psychology, cozy moments, strange dreams,and those intrusive 2am thoughts that refuse to leave quietly. One day I’m painting magical glowing forests, the next day it’s a bride covered in eyeballs. Balance. I enjoy mixing softness with darker undertones, so my art often hides tiny narratives and details waiting to be discovered. I’m especially drawn to creating artworks that feel alive, atmospheric, and a little curious.
