Ayushi

Primarily a linguist, Ayushi is also an avid bug observer and diary hoarder. Her journey started from making art journals at the age of 14, which she posted on instagram under the name downtownshimmer (do not question what it means). Since then, downtownshimmer has been a creative outlet to document every aspect of the mundanities of life.

Her artworks span from journals to comics, which are slice-of-life depictions of the human feeling of being alive. They combine revelations of the self, throwbacks from diary entries and the intricacies of interaction to give you comics that trigger your inner pondering.

And well, Ayushi spends a lot of her time pondering.
